Cornish renewable experts placed in the green spotlight
Experts from Cornish sustainability specialist Enact Energy will be placed in the environmental spotlight this month when they appear at the country’s largest green building event.
The company has been invited to take part in the three-day Big Green Home Show, which is held at The National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon between 28th - 30th October. The centre is the UK’s only outlet dedicated to green building and sustainable project management.
The event is expected to attract thousands of people from across the UK who are interested in making their homes more environmentally friendly and the growing self-build market.
Members of the Enact team will provide visitors with an insight into how they can make their homes greener through a range of initiatives such as solar electricity and hot water, cavity wall and loft insulation, air and ground source heat pumps, high efficiency boilers and voltage optimisation devices.
“The Big Green Home Show has been running for a number of years and is now seen as the key event for what is a rapidly-expanding industry,” said Judith Ball, Marketing Manager. “We have recently taken a permanent stand within the National Self Build and Renovation Centre and, as one of the UK’s leading home energy experts, are pleased to take the opportunity to appear at the event.
“We are delighted that as a Cornish company we are at the centre of what is becoming a significant and increasingly popular market. The rising cost of heating and running a home as a result of spiralling gas and electricity prices has made more and more people right across the UK look at ways of saving and generating their own energy, and the Big Green Home Show is an excellent focal point for this.”
