Green company shows its true colours
Enact Energy is powering through the economic downturn by continuous growth in the energy efficiency industry, offering a green light to recovery for UK businesses. By recently expanding its portfolio of energy saving products and services, and re-branding its 14 year established domestic energy efficiency scheme as a result, Enact is a proven example of how industry and consumers can power their way out of the recession; by being greener and adopting an energy efficient lifestyle.
The re-brand of the national Heat Project, to the Green Project, permits not only greater development and opportunity under the brand, but also truly reflects the company’s goal to help customers make greener choices.
Enact’s founder and CEO Adrian Wright comments on the decision to re-brand the scheme at the heart of his company:
“Our strength of conviction to power through an economically restrictive period has opened new doors, strengthened our partnerships and most importantly revealed new ways we can help our customers benefit from taking green steps.
Re-branding the Heat Project to the Green Project is therefore a natural progression for us. Now we can literally wear our heart on our sleeve, showing customers what we stand for, and what we can do for them.”
Traditionally operating within the insulation market, the Green Project’s predecessor has helped over 300,000 customers across the UK to save money by greening their homes with cavity wall and loft insulation, over the past 14 years. Such an experienced footing has placed the company in an enviable position from which it has been able to grow and form successful pioneering partnerships with major retailers, Tesco and M&S, to manage their energy efficiency services, Tesco Home Efficiency and M&S Energy Home Insulation respectively.
One anticipated area of rapid growth for the Green Project is helping customers to harness renewable energy from the sun, due to the huge financial incentive from the Government’s new Feed-in-Tariff. Under this scheme solar electricity customers will earn money for every unit of electricity they generate, paid for by their electricity supplier. Customers can expect to earn and save as much as £878 every year.
Embracing new renewable technology and the generous Feed-in-Tariff incentive, the Green Project’s growth will be supported by the company’s development into providing domestic and commercial solar electricity (photovoltaic) and solar hot water (thermal) systems.
To celebrate and embrace this invigorated identity, the Green Project is supported by a brand new website (www.greenprojectuk.com) and a series of media campaigns, which highlight why the Green Project offers the best of both worlds – a fresh perspective encompassing growth and ambition alongside existing industry experience and expertise.
