Prior to ‘sit-up’ John was responsible for launching ONdigital, a joint venture owned by Carlton and Granada (both ITV regional companies, now merged as ‘ITV’) and was Operations Director of that company for a year after launch.
Before ONdigital John was Business Affairs Director of Carlton Television which held the London weekday ITV franchise.
John now looks forward to bringing to Enact Energy his wealth of experience starting up and building new businesses, and to being part of an exciting new business sector, helping energy consumers across the UK become more energy aware and less dependent on centralised power generation.
Adrian Wright - Executive Chairman
Adrian has been involved in the energy conservation industry for around 20 years and established Enact Energy in Cornwall in 1996 with a £5,000 bank loan.
In the early years, Adrian provided home energy rating training services for hundreds of staff from local councils and housing associations in addition to providing general energy consultancy services to councils who were required to save energy under the Home Energy Conservation Act.
Through these links with local councils, Adrian developed the Heat Project, a discounted home insulation program which has now grown into one of the UK’s most successful and largest local council energy conservation projects.
Having successfully developed a partnership with Tesco in the UK, Adrian maintains a keen interest in operations and now spends the majority of his time helping to develop business relationships.

Steve now looks forward to helping Enact take advantage of its growing potential within the renewable energy industry.
